Food supplements

Are dietary supplements really necessary? A healthy diet is indeed the basis and it can in no way be replaced by food supplements. However, it remains difficult to find all the essential nutrients. Our diet contains an abundance of refined carbohydrates and saturated fatty acids and not enough vitamins or minerals. Finally, the quality of food is diminished by overproduction, the use of fertilizers, pesticides and preservatives and they are poor in vitamins and minerals. Lack of natural light; we are all deficient in vitamin D, the sun is not strong enough in winter to allow us to produce enough vitamin D. Food supplements prove to be allies of choice to fight against the most frequent deficiencies in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.
